The TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) Rule has been proposed to be delayed until October 3, 2015. When the rule begins… will you be ready?
The TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule will require significant changes to the way mortgage lenders conduct business. Real Estate Agents will need to understand the changes mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. These changes will dramatically lengthen the sales timeline, eliminate the HUD-1, increase mandatory waiting periods, and even change rules regarding the definition of “Business Days.”
This will be the most extensive change most Lenders AND REALTORS® have seen in their careers. If you want to survive and thrive, you need to prepare for these sweeping changes.
